What I've Bought | February 2013

For the first time since before Christmas I've been shopping!! I didn't bother with the sales because there was nothing that I really wanted and I figured I'd spend unnecessary money so I waited until today to go and splash out on a few things. I went to Frenchgate which is in Doncaster near where I live and although it's not the biggest shopping centre in the world it has pretty much all I needed. This isn't a massive 'haul' but it's big enough :-)

Diorskin Forever Foundation - £31.00, Feel Unique (Debenhams website down at the time of publication)

I've been looking for a new moisturiser for a while now because Estee Lauder Double Wear just isn't working for me anymore, it's getting cakey and just isn't suitable for my skin at the moment. The lovely lady at the Debenhams counter helped me choose a suitable formula for me and also gave me a few samples to try out aswell. Dior isn't a brand mentioned very often for foundation I don't think but I seem to remember someone saying that Diorskin Forever was a good medium/full coverage foundation without it being cakey and  mask-like. Can't wait to try it out! I actually had some points on my Debenhams Beauty Card so I got £10 off this which is a big bonus.

Hydraluron - £24.99, Boots

FINALLY!! I've been waiting to try this for absolutely ages, after reading review upon review I finally got a tube of Hydraluron. I would have bought this online a while ago but I needed something like 16 points to buy it with my advantage card points so I figured I'd wait to get to a store so I could get a few more points on my card to buy it. You've no idea how much I'm looking forward to trying this, I really hope it lives up to the hype!

Bath Bombs & Bubble Bars - Various Prices, Lush

I can never resist popping into Lush now since I've been absolutely loving various bath bombs and bubble bars. Before Christmas I could kind of take it or leave it but now a bath just seems so boring without a bath bomb or bubble bar... normal bubble baths just don't cut it anymore! I bought Dragons Egg, The Enchanter, Twilight bath bombs & a Yuzu and Cocoa bubble bar. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was that there wasn't a Valentines bath bomb... I guess Tisty Tosty is their closest to a Valentines type of bath bomb but I'm not keen on that one unfortunately.

So there we go my first 'haul' of 2013, look out for reviews of all these things... Do you enjoy reading haul posts?

  1. I, like you, held out on the stress of the sales and didn't end up going shopping until after my exams finish last week. I love anything that smells and feels good for when I'm having a bath, I agree, normal baths don't cut it haha, once you've experienced something better it's hard to ever go back. :P
