When I was in Leeds the other day I couldn't resist popping into the L'occitane shop to have a little look, I've seen products on QVC and various blogs and I wanted to experience something for myself.
I love a good bath, a long, peaceful soak with some gorgeous bath products (with the door shut, so that the dog can't come and drop his toys into the bath and my other half can't plonk his backside on the toilet!!!). I usually stick to Radox or something available on the high street but because I'd returned an item back to debenhams and got a £24 refund, the High End bubble bath is technically free... right?
Anyway, I went into the shop and had a sniff of a few different bubble baths, the lady was very lovely and helpful and showed me their full range of bath products; lavender, verbena, rose and the one I finally settled on... Cherry Blossom.
I was a bit sceptical at first about this because I often find that products which double up as bath and shower gels aren't as bubbly or as strong in scent but this one is very different. A little definately goes a long way, creating loads of bubbles and filling the room with the gorgeous scent of cherries with a subtle floral undertone. I'm not into excessively floral fragrances which is why I went for the fruiter cherry option.
I really enjoyed bath time with this, I don't have a bath that often (I tend to shower) but when I do I'll be using this. It is expensive at £13.00 for 250ml, and my other half did tell me that I 'might aswell bath in pound notes' but I think it's well worth it and is definately the luxury I need after a rubbish day and it looks pretty on the side of my bath, it makes me feel all posh haha! You can buy this from Feel Unique.
Who knew some of the best products would come from France? Have you experienced any products from L'occitane, what do you think?
